What will my certificate look like?

Can I certify anything I want?
You can certify almost anything you want, but we reserve the right to use our discretion on items we deem to be overtly offensive (ex: hate-speech, anything that can be considered degrading to a race/religion/gender/lifestyle choice). We intend for these certificates to bring smiles and laughs, so please keep to that spirit.
Is the certificate I'm buying just a cheap piece of paper printed by inkjet?
No. We purchase high-quality, heavyweight certificate paper. The text is printed in high-resolution via laser printer with authentic manufacturer toner (not the cheap stuff). We hand-emboss a real gold foil seal on each certificate. Our certificates rival the quality and craftsmanship of a University diploma except they don't cost $150,000 and 4 years of your life and sanity.
Who is this intended for?
Anyone, really. These certificates make a great "gag gift" with a personal touch. They make a good companion gift to go along with another gift you're giving instead of a boring greeting card that will end up in the trash. Did you adopt a new cat? Certify him/her as "The Greatest" and hang it on the wall by the food bowl as a confidence booster. Did your dad hit a hole-in-one? Certify the shot as "Epic".
I don't see an adjective that befits the thing I'd like to certify. Can I ask for a custom one?
Sure. You can send an email to complaintsaboutlimitedvocabulary@certifystuff.com and let us know what adjective you'd like. We'll direct you to place an order with any adjective, but then make sure to change it to your request in printing. Please note we are limited by character space, so please keep it limited to less than 40 characters total.
How do you protect the certificate during shipping?
We place the completed certificate in a Uline Self-Seal StayFlats Mailer envelope along with a sturdy piece of cardboard and a protective sheet of paper to protect the print and seal. This method keeps your certificate flat, un-creased, and ready to present to the lucky recipient.
What is your return policy?
Since these items are customized, we do not accept returns or issue refunds on items that have already shipped. If your certificate was damaged during shipping, please contact mycertificategotjackedenroute@certifystuff.com and we will issue a replacement on a case-by-case basis.
Can I re-order a certificate? My house burned down :(
Whoa, sorry about your house. Yes, you can re-order a certificate. Please send an email to reprints@certifystuff.com and, if possible, include the order number of the original certificate. Please also consider certifying your house as "Fireproof" to avoid this problem in the future*.
